Tesla jumped by 14 percent in afterhours trade Tuesday as the electric vehicle maker's announcement that it was accelerating the launch of new EVs including affordable models overshadowed fiscal first-quarter results that fell short of estimates amid waning EV demand.

Visa shares climbed over 3% in after-hours trading Tuesday after the payment processor posted earnings and revenue that topped Wall Street expectations for the fiscal Q2 2024.
