Market Outlook :
(27 Nov )

US market Closed
Asian market Positive

SGX NIFTY 17 points Up

Trend on SGXNIFTY indicates a Flat Opening for index.

Market view :

Market would open Flat.

Technically, Market is still in the positive zone.

Nifty has given sharp short covering as we mentioned in yesterday outlook.

But still Profit booking we can not be ruled out.

Nifty yesterday didnt give close above 13000 and closed @ 12986 level. Dec month closed @ 13045

If Nifty closed above 13075 then only upside trend confirmation will come.

Traders should initiate long positions only if Nifty trades above 13075 levels but until then there is a strong chance for the market to see some correction and it’s time for traders to wait for the confirmation.

Traders should keep trail stoploss in longs.

We can see reversal only below 12840( Nifty ) and 28600 (Banknifty )On closing basis.

Intraday level can help to take a trade in intra day set up.

@AlliesFin Serve Stock Market's Post

A reading of advance trade in goods for October showed the deficit increased 1.2%
• Weekly data on jobless claims from the Labor Department showed 778,000 people filed for unemployment for the first time, marking the second weekly gain in a row.
Economists polled by Dow Jones expected initial jobless claims to come in at 733,000.
• A second reading of gross domestic product for the third quarter confirmed an increase of 33.1%
• Sales of newly-constructed homes slipped fractionally in October but remained elevated
• A final reading of consumer sentiment for November dipped again
• Americans’ incomes declined, and households curtailed their spending, the government said. Inflation also moderated, to a 1.2% yearly rise in October.
• Minutes from the Fed’s Nov. 4-5 meeting showed no immediate change to its bond-buying policy, but that most staffers want to provide more guidance to market participants going forward. The minutes release comes ahead of the Federal Open Market Committee’s two-day policy meeting starting Dec. 15. “The staff also continued to view the risks to the economic outlook as tilted to the downside, with the latest data suggesting an increased probability of a resurgence in the disease,” the minutes said.

*Market participants believe U.S. stocks have more room to climb. A recent Reuters poll showed analysts believe the S&P 500 will gain 9% between now and the end of 2021. The index has surged about 66% since the coronavirus-led crash in March and is up about 12% so far this year.*

*Tesla Inc*, which surpassed $500 billion in market capitalization on Tuesday, extended its gain by 3.4% even after the electric-car maker recalled about 9,500 vehicles. The company also plans to start manufacturing electric vehicle chargers in China starting next year, according to documents it submitted to Shanghai authorities.

Volume on U.S. exchanges was 10.76 billion shares, compared with the 11.17 billion average over the last 20 trading days.

In Europe, the Stoxx Europe 600 Index edged lower, as cyclicals such as mining and energy firms fell, offsetting advances in defensives including utility shares. ABN Amro Bank NV and Commerzbank AG dropped more than 3% and led euro-area lenders lower after the European Central Bank said the industry will probably have to set aside more money to soak up losses when government pandemic support ends.

*The U.K. announced Wednesday its largest peacetime borrowing level ever as the coronavirus pandemic is forecast to cause the largest plunge in economic output for 300 years. The British economy is forecast to contract by 11.3% in 2020, according to the Office for Budget Responsibility (OBR), with the government on course to borrow £394 billion ($526 billion), or 19% of GDP (gross domestic product).*

*The European Central Bank (ECB) on Wednesday warned that European banks will not see profits return to pre-pandemic levels before 2022.*

*Here are some key events coming up:*
• Thursday sees a policy decision and briefing from the Bank of Korea.
• U.S. celebrates the Thanksgiving holiday on Thursday. The stock market closes at 1 p.m. on Friday.
• The week ends with Black Friday, the traditional start of the U.S. holiday shopping season.

*Currencies*
• The Bloomberg Dollar Spot Index fell 0.1%.
• The euro gained 0.2% to $1.1914.
• The British pound rose 0.1% to $1.3378.
• The onshore yuan strengthened 0.3% to 6.574 per dollar.
• The Japanese yen was little changed at 104.4 per dollar.

*Bonds*
• The yield on 10-year Treasuries declined one basis point to 0.87%.
• The yield on two-year Treasuries was little changed at 0.16%.
• Germany’s 10-year yield fell one basis point to -0.58%.
• Britain’s 10-year yield declined to 0.318%.
• Japan’s 10-year yield dipped less than one basis point to 0.021%.

*Commodities*
• West Texas Intermediate crude gained 3.6% to $45.62 a barrel.
• Brent crude gained 1.5% to $48.59 a barrel.
• Gold futures were flat at $1,810.70 an ounce.

*Nasdaq ends at record ( its first in three months,), but Dow closes below 30,000 milestone on Thanksgiving eve. U.S. weekly jobless claims tick up for second week ahead of the Thanksgiving holiday and Black Friday.*

*Markets will be closed on Thursday for Thanksgiving and will shutter early on Friday. Due to the holiday, investors received a full slate of U.S. economic reports Wednesday, including weekly jobless benefit claims, a report on new-home sales, and a reading on consumer sentiment.*

*After a record-setting day Tuesday for the Dow, investors took a breather from rotating out of shares of companies in previously “unloved” sectors of the economy during the pandemic. (pulled lower by cyclicals and small caps that drove the rally earlier in the week.). Pandemic-resilient tech and tech-adjacent market leaders helped keep the Nasdaq afloat.*

In addition to watching sector rotations, investors also were parsing a deluge of U.S. economic reports that failed to provide conclusive takeaways about the state of the U.S. economic recovery from the pandemic.

But mixed economic data also may serve as a reminder of the challenges facing the world as COVID-19 spreads more rapidly, and before treatments become readily available. U.S. weekly jobless benefit claims rose for a second week to a five week high, while October durable goods orders rose only 0.2% excluding defense spending.

Indeed, the global tally for confirmed cases of the coronavirus that causes COVID-19 climbed to 59.9 million on Wednesday, according to data aggregated by Johns Hopkins University, while the death toll rose above 1.4 million.

*On top of that, there are currently a record of 88,080 COVID-19 patients in U.S. hospitals, according to the COVID Tracking Project, topping the previous record of 85,870 set a day ago.*

That spike comes in a week in which AstraZeneca AZN said its coronavirus vaccine candidate being developed with the University of Oxford can reach efficacy of around 90%, adding to a list of drugmakers, including Pfizer-BioNTech BNTX and Moderna MRNA, racing to advance a viable vaccine.

Vaccine news and reports that Biden was set to tap former Federal Reserve Chair Janet Yellen, as a candidate for U.S. Treasury Secretary, also helped to encourage stock buying.

Even though the markets are largely past the big unknowns of November, and we really are seeing such a broadening out of the rally, across sectors, industries, and stocks, sentiment is getting a bit hot.

*Salesforce* led the Dow lower, falling more than 5% after Dow Jones reported the company held talks to buy Slack Technologies. CNBC later confirmed the report. Shares of Slack popped more than 37%. Energy fell 2.4% and was the worst-performing sector in the S&P 500.

*Economic reports for Wednesday*
Wednesday brought a bevy of data, some of which have been pulled forward due to the holiday:
• A report on orders for long-lasting goods for October showed a sixth-straight monthly rise, but one that was lower than forecasts

THIS COULD BE GAME CHANGER FOR MARKETS

#alliesfin #usa #elections

How USA appoints it's #President ?

#American people will vote on 3 Nov. They will vote for electors. Electors are like MP /MLA in India.

These electors will vote on 14 dec and decide who will win Trump or Biden

The counting for votes by people will began on 4th nov and has to be completed by 8th dec.

Once that counting is done, the electors of each state will get the data of who the people of that state wants to see as president.

(During last election Hillary Clinton had got more vote from people, but the electors choose Trump and he won the election)

On 14th dec the electors will vote and elect the president of USA.

To become president a person needs more than 270 electors vote out of total of 538.

The exit poll will be published by news channels as soon as election is over on 3nd nov.
But that will not be final result.the final result will come on 14th dec .

In short Markets will react twice once on 4th nov on exit poll and other on 14-15th dec after declaration of result.

fwded msg. pls verify your source.
