*India Raises Natural Gas Price by 62% for 6 Months From Oct. 1*
-Price for natural gas produced from domestic fields that were awarded to state explorers will be increased to $2.9/MMBtu for six months beginning Oct. 1, Oil Ministry’s Petroleum Planning & Analysis Cell says on its website.
-India had last increased natural gas price in April 2019; current price is $1.79/MMBtu
-Gas ceiling price for difficult fields with high pressure and high temperature such as Reliance-BP’s KG-D6 set at $6.13/MMBtu on gross calorific value basis, 69.3% higher than $3.62 previously
