The third turning point in his life came in 1970, when research on the liver began this year and he identified one such liver artery during surgery. ..... which made liver transplantation easier.

His remarks astonished the great minds of medical science.

Today, when a person has a liver operation in some corner of the world and the patient opens his eyes and sees the light the reward for this successful operation goes directly to "Hamilton".

"Hamilton" achieved this position with sincerity and perseverance. He was associated with the University of Cape Town for 50 years, in those 50 years he never took a vacation.
He would leave home at three o'clock at night, walk 14 miles to the university, and he would enter the theatre at exactly six o'clock. People used to fix their watches with his time.

He received an honour that no one in medical science has ever received.

He was the first illiterate teacher of medical history.
He was the first illiterate surgeon to train 30,000 surgeons in his lifetime.
He died in 2005 and was buried at the university and
It was then made compulsory for surgeons to pass out from the university after obtaining that degree go to his grave, take a picture and then get into practical life .... ”

"You know how he got this position."

"Only one yes."

The day he was called to the operating theatre to grab the giraffe's neck if he had refused that day, if he had said that day, I am a Grounds Maintenance Worker, my job is not to hold the giraffe's neck

It was a yes and an extra eight hours of hard work that opened the door to success for him and he became a surgeon.

"Most of us have been looking for a job all our lives. While we must find work. "

Every job in the world has one criteria and job is available only to those who meet the criteria while if you wanted to do work, you could start any work in the world in a few minutes and no power in the world would be able to stop you.

"Hamilton" had found the secret, he gave important to work rather than job. Thus it changed the history of medical science.

Imagine if he applied for a surgeon's job could he have become a surgeon? Never, but he put the hoe down and hold the giraffe's neck and became surgeon.

There are unemployed people fail because they just look for a job, not for a work.
The day you started working like "Hamilton" you will win the Nobel Prize and will become great and successful human beings.

@ALLIESFIN

Cape Town's uneducated surgeon Mr. Hamilton, who was awarded the honorary degree of Master of Medicine who could neither read nor write let's see how this is possible.
Cape Town Medical University has a leading position in the medical world.
The world's first bypass operation took place at the same university.

Master of Medicine awarded the honorary degree of who has never seen the face of school in his life.
Who could read an English word and could not write .....

But one morning in 2003, world-renowned surgeon Professor David Dent announced in the university auditorium: "Today we are awarding an honorary degree in medicine to the man who produced the most surgeons in the world." Who is an extraordinary teacher, and an amazing surgeon, and who studied medical science and surprised the human mind.

With this announcement, the professor took the name "Hamilton" and the entire auditorium stood and greeted the cross.

It was the biggest reception in the history of this university.

Hamilton was born in Sanitani, a remote village in Cape Town. His parents were shepherds, he wore goat skin, and he walked in the mountains barefoot all day, as a child, his father fell ill, so he left the sheep and goats and moved to Cape Town. Construction was underway at the University of Cape Town in those days.
He joined the university as a labourer. He would send home as much money as he could get after a hard day's work and he used to sleep in the open ground by chewing gram himself.
He worked as a laborer for many years. The construction process ended

He got the job of mowing the tennis court, ........
He arrives at the tennis court every day and starts mowing the lawn. ......

He did this for three years ...
Then came a strange turn in his life
And
He reached a point in medical science where no one else has ever been.

It was a mild, warm morning. "Professor Robert Joyce, researching giraffes, wanted to see:

"When a giraffe bends its neck to drink water, why doesn't it have a seizure?"

They laid a giraffe on the operating table, knocked him unconscious, but as soon as the operation started, the giraffe shook its head. So they needed a strong man to keep the giraffe's neck tight during the operation.

The professor came out of the theatre, 'Hamilton' was mowing the lawn in front, the professor saw that he was a healthy young man of strong stature. They beckoned him and ordered him to grab the giraffe's neck. "Hamilton" grabbed his neck.

The operation lasted eight hours. During this time, the doctor continued to take tea and coffee breaks, however "Hamilton" he stood holding the giraffe's neck. When the operation was over, he quietly went out and started mowing the lawn.

The next day the professor called him again, he came and grabbed the giraffe's neck and stood up, after which it became his routine. , He worked double for many months,
And he demanded some additional compensation for this duty and nor did he complain.

Professor Robert Joyce was impressed by his perseverance and sincerity and "Hamilton" is promoted from a mowing the tennis court to "lab assistant." He now came to the university, went to the operating theatre and helped the surgeons. This process continued for years.

In 1958 came another turning point in his life. This year Dr. Bernard came to the university and started heart transplant operations.

"Hamilton" became his assistant, during these operations, he went from assistant to additional surgeon.

Now the doctors operate and after the operation, he was given the task of stitching. He used to do excellent stitches. His fingers were clean and fast. He stitched fifty people in one day. While working in the operating theatre, he began to understand the human body more than surgeons . So the senior doctors gave him the responsibility of teaching the junior doctors.

He now began teaching surgery techniques to junior doctors. He gradually became the most important figure in the university. He was unfamiliar with the terms of medical science. But he was the best surgeon in the world.

Seventeen lakh Abhimanyus have entered chakravyuh, will they Survive?
@AlliesFin

SEBI chief recently expressed his concern over 23 Lakh new demat accounts opened in April/May 2020 and increased stock trading by investors. In Mahabharat, the youngest warrior Abhimanyu got killed attempting to break the chakravyuh. He knew how to enter the Chakravyuha but knew nothing about how to come out of it. Traders (Abhimanyus) enter Chakravyuh with feeling that short term share price movements can be spotted and traded correctly to earn profit, actually it isn't doable. As per Harvard , actual or anticipated financial gains releases pleasure chemical ‘Dopamine’ in the brain. Similar brain activity happens when you consume Cocaine. Pleasure seeking brain ultimately becomes addictive. Trading activity then increases manifold and in one large adverse movement, the trader loses his shirt.

Remember –Out of 40 Lakh Mahabharat warriors, only 4 knew how to enter and exit Chakravyuh successfully ! So try to understand what SEBI chief is worried about. His inability to protect new Abhimanyus !.

e House and congressional Democrats remain deadlocked on a new coronavirus aid package.*

A falling trend in the number of new coronavirus infections in the U.S. and optimism over prospects for a vaccine and other COVID-19 treatments have been credited with pushing stocks to new highs, but analysts said equities might struggle to extend the rise without fresh impetus. Some fear that investors are nearing a “euphoria” stage that could herald a near-term pullback.

Carlos Diez, founder and CEO of MarketGrader, agreed with that sentiment. “There’s a lot of euphoria around the large cap names and that gives me a little bit of pause about what might happen in the near term,” Diez told MarketWatch.
Still, he said, “We have one of the biggest tailwinds in the history which is the massive, massive monetary stimulus globally. It’s hard to argue against risk assets when there’s so much liquidity sloshing around. Over the next six to nine months I don’t expect a major downturn.”

Unlike some market participants, Diez doesn’t think another round of fiscal stimulus is needed — or priced in. “I think investors are probably starting to worry a little bit about the fiscal situation and what happens after all this is over.”

*S&P 500 and Nasdaq end at fresh records as Amazon, Netflix and Tesla stocks soar: Salesforce.com Inc. shares surged 26% after results top forecasts, helping to amplify fervor for tech companies. The dollar weakened and gold appreciated.*

*Stocks ended sharply higher Wednesday, powered by shares of technology and e-commerce shares, amid news of progress on coronavirus vaccine trials and expectations for the Federal Reserve to signal it will keep monetary policy easy in a speech by Chairman Jerome Powell on Thursday.*

The S&P 500 scored its 18th record close of the year (its fourth straight record closing high) and the Nasdaq marked its 39th all-time closing high of 2020 compared with a total of 31 reached in all of 2019. Meanwhile, the Dow closed within 1% of going positive for the year after the coronavirus-induced turbulence in March. The blue-chip benchmark also stands 4.1% from its Feb. 12 record closing high at 29,551.41. Wednesday’s gains put the S&P 500 up more than 58% since hitting an intraday low on March 23. The Nasdaq has soared by 75% in that time period.

But “if you cut through it all, this rally has really been about five or six stocks. It seems to create a bit of a smokescreen as far as what’s really happening below the surface.

Technology-related names surged Wednesday, powered primarily by Tesla Inc., Amazon.com and Netflix, extending a stratospheric run-up for large-cap tech and online-based companies.

There’s this confidence that regardless of what happens with COVID, these companies have proven that they’re open for business.

*In U.S. economic data, orders for durable goods rose 11.2% in July indicating factories will help support the economic rebound in coming months, again helped by a 22% surge in automobile demand. Economists surveyed by MarketWatch were looking for a 4.8% rise after a 7.6% jump in June.*

Shares of Salesforce.com Inc. surged nearly 26%, also helping to underpin appetite for the tech names after the cloud-based customer-relationship-management company announced quarterly results late Tuesday that topped forecasts as its revenues hit $5 billion for the first time. The company also was benefiting from Monday’s announcement by S&P Dow Jones Indices that it would be among a trio of companies to be included in the Dow, effective Monday.

*The rally for equities comes ahead of a potentially market-moving speech from Powell, who will deliver a webcast address to the annual Jackson Hole gathering of central banks Thursday morning. He’s expected to outline changes to the Fed’s policy framework that would allow inflation to run hotter than in the past, ending the Fed practice of hiking interest rates at the first whiff of rising price pressures.*

*However, it is too soon to know what additional steps the Federal Reserve can take to help the economy continue to recover from the sudden lock down in March and April, said Kansas City Fed President Esther George on Wednesday.*

*Investors may also be looking for clues to the potential for additional action by the Fed in terms of monetary stimulus, particularly if the Whit

Thursday, 13 August 2020

α ℓ ℓ ι є ѕ ƒ ι η тє¢нѕ¢σρє's Post

Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modi launches ‘Transparent Taxation’ platform encompassing the below points.

The announcements made in the last budget have now been implemented from today
1. Faceless assessments - Draft assessment order in one city, review in another & finalisation in third city ( serious frauds, black money . benami , search & sensitive matters excluded)
2. Faceless appeals (w.e.f 25 September 2020)
3. Taxpayer charter – Attached herewith

Additional features
· Any assessment other than faceless will be invalid
· No intrusive and survey action by field officers. Only investigation wing and TDS Wing can after approval of officer of the level of Chief Commissioner or above

Key takeaways from the speech
a) Emphasis on the maxim of ‘Minimum Government, Maximum Governance’,
b) PM expresses that the approach of this initiative is to move away from power centric towards people centric administration and focus on “Honouring the Honest”;
c) PM explains that faceless assessments/ appeals will have technology driven interface (e.g. In case of scrutiny assessments, there will be random selection of cases and selection will not be limited to jurisdictional AO),
d) Further the taxpayers’ charter will outline responsibilities and duties of tax officers and transfers/ postings of officers will be done away with;
e) PM however expresses that while there has been a decrease in complexity/ taxes/ litigation and increase in transparency/ compliance/ trust, there is a need to introspect on low base of taxpayers despite growth in tax filers;
f) Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman adds that technology, data analytics and artificial intelligence will be the key drivers of the platform which will ease compliance burden, provide more certainty, bring in fair/ just system while removing physical interface between tax department and taxpayer.
