Nifty expected to open with some weakness. Watch 9044 support for intraday recovery on the higher side, a break above 9180 will take Nifty to a probable target zone of 9405-9440 zone. With government stimulus announcement already priced, market would be looking for direction from global equities and development on Covid-19. Also the news on extension of lockdown may have to be digested by traders and investors.

US markets on Friday traded in a much required narrow range with small upward bias. Asian markets in morning trade are showing some kind of stabilization with small upward bias.

Crude futures rose further on the back of IEA comments last week, risk-on sentiment and production cut plans, WTI moved near 31, Brent crossed 33. US bond yeilds also remained steady near 0.64, $ index remained ranked near 100.4, CBOE vix fell a tad to close below 32.

US markets had a mixed close on Monday, Dow Jones had a weak close where as S&P closed in flat territory. Nasdaq once again outperformed with yet another day of gains.

The optimism on re-opening of economy was offset with news on Covid-19 related worries. US futures eased off further on the same.

In opening trade Asian markets showed signs of weakness on news of 2nd outbreak of Covid-19 in China and South Korea.

Crude futures once again had a volatile day within a small range, WTI currently trades near 24.5 and Brent just below 30. US $ index continues to trade just above 100. US 10 year bond yields rose a bit to trade near 0.70. Cboe Vix continued to trade just below 28.

Nifty expected to open higher, watch 9299 for further move for Nifty towards 9405 to 9450.

US markets rallied on Thursday on the back of optimism of re-opening of economy. Nasdaq briefly crossed 9000 for the first time in many weeks before settling just below 9000 taking Nasdaq into positive zone for the year.
US stocks rallied shrugging off the worst ever jobless claims and US-China trade tensions. As per sources US-China may be speaking on the first phase of trade deal despite of China not co-operating on Covid-19 details. The news took US futures higher.

Crude futures remained volatile in a tight range before settling near flat zone.
US dollar index again fell below 100 to close near 99.7 level on risk on trade.

Vista equity partner to pick up 2.3% in Reliance Jio for 11367 cr. The price implies 12.5% premium over Facebook deal.

Nifty expected to open down on global equity weakness. Nifty once again will test the near term support zone of 8820-8925-9091.

US markets fell on Wednesday on the back of trade tension between US and China, tech heavy Nasdaq once again bucked the trend with a small positive close.

After advancing for days crude futures gave back some gains, WTI traded near 24 and Brent below 30. US 10 year advanced further near 0.69 and $ index surged to close above 100. Indian Rupee traded in a narrow range with small downward bias to close near 75.75 level.

Nifty expected to open near flat zone. The current phase of give back may continue for a few more days with support for Nifty placed between 9091 and 8925 zone. Traders can start building CALL positions in the support zone for a move towards 9600 - 9700 by the end of month.

US markets continued the recovery process with Nasdaq once again leading the chart with close to 1% gains.

Crude futures recovered further, Brent moved above 31 and WTI above 24.

US $ index moved higher towards 99.8 zone.

Indian markets would now be keenly watching the developments on lockdown relaxation and stimulus measures from the government to revive the economy.

Central government hikes duty on petrol and diesel.

Nifty expected to open with a flat bias. Watch 9344 for Nifty recovery towards 9470-9500 zone. Support for Nifty stays in 9205-9250 zone.

US markets saw a dramatic recovery from opening low as investors turned attention to re-opening of the economy and strength in technology heavy NASDAQ. The benchmark NASDAQ remained the rank outperformer with gains of over 1%.

Crude futures continued to recover, wti almost crossed 22 and Brent moved closer to 28 mark.

US $ index moved in a narrow range near 99.4 mark.
After dismal core sector data India's April PMI crashed to all time low near 27.4 driven by unprecedented cut in output.

Rupee showed some weakness yesterday to close near 75.70 zone.

US 10 year remained flat at 0.63.

Reliance Industries Q4: Adjusted profit at Rs 10,813 crore versus Rs 12,018 crore, revenue at Rs 1.36 lakh crore versus Rs 1.41 lakh crore QoQ

Tech Mahindra Q4: Profit at Rs 803.9 crore versus Rs 1,145.9 crore; revenue at Rs 9,490.2 crore versus Rs 9,654.6 crore QoQ.

Hindustan Unilever Q4: Profit at Rs 1,519 crore versus Rs 1,538 crore, revenue at Rs 9,011 crore versus Rs 9,945 crore YoY.

Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals: The company partially resumed operations at Ahmednagar plant.

RBL Bank: The bank appointed Deepak Kumar as the Chief Risk Officer for a period of two years.

Yes Bank: The bank said it has appointed Neeraj Dhawan as its chief risk officer with immediate effect for a period of three years.
Coal India: The company reported an 11 percent decline in production to 40.38 million tonnes in April. It had posted a total production of 45.30 million tonne (MT) in the corresponding month of the previous financial year.
Eicher Motors April auto sales: Total sales went down 98% at 85 units against 3,961 units (YoY).

Escorts April tractor sales: Total tractor sales went down 86.6% at 705 units against 5,264 Units (YoY). Domestic tractor sales went down 87.7% at 613 units against 4,986 units (YoY). Tractor exports went down 66.9% at 92 units against 278 units (YoY).

Mahindra & Mahindra April tractor sales: Total sales went down 83% at 4,772 units against 28,552 units (YoY). Total domestic sales went down 83% at 4,716 units against 27,495 units (YoY). Total exports went down 95% at 56 units against 1,057 units (YoY).

Maruti Suzuki April auto sales: Company saw zero sales in domestic market as all production facilities were closed. Exported 632 units from Mundra port.
